Welcome to the trailhead.

Two years. Two corporate jobs. Two “this isn’t working out” conversations.

The first time, I told myself it was a fluke. A bad fit. A weird season. I polished my resume, smiled through it, and tried again like a responsible adult who totally has it all figured out.

And then it happened again.

Same outcome, different logo on the paycheck.

At some point you stop calling it “unlucky” and start wondering if life is grabbing you by the collar like: Hey. You’re not listening.

So I finally did.

Losing my corporate job for the second time in two years didn’t feel like failure—it felt like a loud, unmissable sign. Not the kind you ignore and hustle past. The kind that makes you sit down, take a breath, and admit the truth you’ve been trying to outrun:

I’m not built for beige walls and “circle back” energy.

I’m built for trail dirt, cold mornings, wild views, and that full-body exhale that happens when you’re miles away from the noise.

This is me going off the beaten path—on purpose.

Not because it’s easy. Not because it’s safe. But because I’m tired of living like my soul is a side project. I want to chase something real. Something that makes me feel awake.

So here we are.

This blog is where I’m documenting the shift: the adventures, the lessons, the wins, the mistakes, the gear that earns its keep, and the gear that absolutely doesn’t. It’s for the people who daydream about leaving the spreadsheet life behind. For the ones who feel most like themselves outside. For anyone who’s ever looked at their “perfect plan” and thought, This can’t be it.

If you’re here, maybe you’re hearing your own signal too.

Welcome. Let’s get a little lost—on the way to something better.
